SAMBA invites you to join us for opening day events at the Ephrata Bike Park on Saturday, October 19. Come on out and be one of the first to test out the area’s first bike park! Ribbon Cutting ceremony and media coverage will take place at 12 NOON and the park will officially open afterwards.  The park is the perfect place to learn to ride and offers fun for all ages. The area  consists of a beginner trail and an advanced trail totaling 1.5 miles, a pump track, Strider track for the little ones, two bridges, dirt jumps and three skills areas and is just a couple blocks from downtown Ephrata adjacent to the Warwick Ephrata Rail trail (WERT).

Green Mountain Cyclery will be on hand with demo bikes available and there will also be Strider demo bikes available for the kids. SAMBA will be providing tours and rides throughout the afternoon and giving away a 12″Strider bike to one lucky kid.  Learn more about SAMBA, Bike Ephrata, NICA, Mainspring of Ephrata and 717Cycling’s Learn to Mountain Bike program. Food trucks will be on-site. Parking available at the Fulton St parking lot. There will also be an after party celebration at St. Boniface Craft Brewing Company starting at 4:00!!!
